Eats in a Week
I think the worst part of having your teeth pulled is not being able to eat what you want (at least for me anyways). As soon I was able, I hit the ground running and went a bit crazy, I think and gobbled up everything in sight.
This is all that a very hungry Squishy Monster eats in a week.
Lemongrass Chicken
Tom Yum Soup, Edamame, Squid Salad
Summer Rolls + Almond Cookies
Aunties Rice Cake Soup {Ddeukguk}
Spinach Gyoza
Mee krob (and tuna roll)
Mango Shrimp
Scallop Pud Puk
Fried Oreos
Oreo Cheesecake
Carrot Ginger Soup
Lentil Burger
Beet Juice
Steak Burrito Bowl
The best hummus I’ve had in town.
Gyro
Trout and Veggies
I do believe I polished off an entire plate of steak, veggies, 2 corn muffins, a bowl of cheesy grits and a kids stack of buttermilk pancakes that night. Oh yes–it was a good night.
This is about how much a Squishy Monster eats in a week…give or take a few midnight snacks and munchies to keep me going throughout the day.
Love & lots of food!
Your Squishy Monster ^.~

Wow – lots of great eats. Love most of what you ate!
My tummy either hates me or loves me, haha
Hi Angie, that’s whole lot of great and yummlicious food for the entire week. All look so superb… you sure can eat?
That’s some good eats
Right? =)
Never is my stomach unattended to, I’m the best host ever! =)
what a healthy selection! I must try summer rolls sometime
I could learn a few things from Squishy. Eat like a Queen and don’t waste food space on junk! These eats have my tummy growling and tummy is super jealous right now!
You deserved this feast after such a painful experience! Hope all is better now
I think I could share all the meals with you. Everything looks fantastic.
Wow I want to come eat at your house those meals look awesome. Fried oreos? You are cracking me up…. Take Care, BAM
You sure know how to eat well. Loved all those dishes except the fried oreos.
Did you make all the dishes or Mom made them?
You deserved all this after your eating hiatus!
Oh man, those fried oreos! The whole week looks ridiculously delicious, but it’s the oreos that really make me hungry.
What a feast! I know what you mean. I had my wisdom teeth pulled a while back and the no eating part was no fun. For a gal who loves to eat, it was torture!
xo,
nancy
fried oreos….cheesey grits…..holy crap, everything looks and sounds so.good.
That’s a lot of food Squishy Monster, I bet you had to run around the block a few times too! Glad you’re feeling better with your teeth.
Hi my dear! WOW! That’s a lot of great food in a week! You do eat out a lot! haha.. I love the international selection of food! That’s the awesome thing about living in North America!! ahhh.. don’t get me started on how much I miss Vancouver. lol. P.S. your auntie seems like she’s an amazing cook!!

Don’t you get to eat ice cream?
You definitely made up for lost time- you go girl!

I would send you some hot Korean soup if I could!!!
She definitely is. I’d say I got a little stir crazy from being tied to the bed and literally ran out the door, haha.
I could lie and say yes, but I won’t and honestly say I didn’t lol. I’m so bad about that :/
Mine disappeared a few days ago and I thought it was pretty cool, lol.
I knooooow, right?
it’s always the worst things that get ya…ahhhhh =)
My tummy doesn’t know the definition of time out, I think.
lol, fair enough. I wish I didn’t like ’em. Last week, I went out a lot because I’d been stuck at home so much.
It’s ridiculous but ridiculously addictive, I’m sad to report. Yet another food addiction to add to the list :/
well c’mon over =)
Thanks Uru, you made me smile that day and I remember it made me feel better ^.^
lol…it’s about 2 am and I wish I’d thought to save some of it to nosh on now
loooove ’em!
You had a delicious week!
Looks like you more than made up for lost time. LOL I like your choices of post-dental work eating, too. Glad you are feeling better and able to chew to your stomach’s content once again.
Looks like you made up for it with some seriously amazing food! Hope your teeth are feeling better lovely x
Much! and more so due to your sweetness =)
Um, Can I come and eat with you for a week? That is some delicious looking food!!!
That would be so much fun!
Whoa, look at all that delicious food!
I would KILL for that hummus recipe!
I’m gonna try to weasel my way into that kitchen!
Wowzers! Look at all of that good food. I apologize for being out of circulation for so long. It’s been busy around here with the holidays and getting ready to go back to school. I still have to replace a laptop and am not sure what to go with. I’m not as tech savvy as I used to be. As long as it runs my GIS programs it’ll work.
Now that everything is winding down, I’ll have more time to catch up on my favorite book, aka your blog;) I never thought I’d meet someone with a love affair toward food to match mine. I thought I was the only one all fifty shades of kitchen-aid. ~.^
But enough about me… I’m glad your healed up and back in the saddle with a healthy appetite. Your food spreads look great! That lemongrass chicken looks mighty delish. Is that a type of carrot soup on the side? Oh my fried oreos and oreo cheesecake? Such sweet treats indeed. Where they homemade? We made some double-decker cookies over the holiday. Baked some Newman-Os hint-o-mint inside of some chocolate chip cookies. They turned out better than I had expected, I like it when that happens. I had an idea for a cheesecake of sorts if I knew how to dish it out, vanilla chai cheesecake using traditional crust with a hint of cinnamon. That steak burrito bowl has officially changed my plans for dinner. It looks filling indeed.
Thanks for sharing your eats!!
-Paul
Glad you’re back, Paul! ^.~
