Weekend Bits
One of the following is false: I fell down twice, went to a college party, had an allergic reaction to something on my legs and almost got sick cleaning out one very moldy refrigerator, and got a new tattoo.
Only the last one is false. First, I don’t know if you know this but I’m a huge klutz. I’m the girl that walks down the hall and smacks her arm on the wall and wonders if it were there all along. Second, I went to visit baby brother and it just sort of happened. Being almost 30, I have to say, I felt pretty lame. I vaguely remember going that hard but most certainly don’t ever recall wall twerking. That last part is completely true. I didn’t make that up. Third, I’ve yet to figure out the culprit but my legs are now completely covered in very unattractive rashes. The part where I cleaned out the fridge didn’t cause it as the itch grew long before any mold or bleach came into the picture but it probably didn’t help. But as always, food was there to cheer me up. It never makes me feel clumsy, uncool, or so damn itchy!
Nothing like mama’s good home cooking to instantly cheer you up {video for naengmyeun to come}
Steak, it’s what’s for dinner!
Fried chicken + fixins’
Korean melon {hybrid golden liner} These make fantastic homemade pops!
The views from the hike with baby brother.
The destination.
And then, I found this little big guy.
I hope everyone enjoyed their weekends. I’m super stoked for the short week/long weekend ahead! Are you?
Love,
Your Squishy Monster ^.~

I love the idea of edamame dip. I must prepare it one day because I am a big fan of these beans. I am so sorry to hear about your allergy. I hope the rash has already disappeared.
Mmmmmm, steak!! I just got done marinating some in a pomegranate and sriracha mix that I whipped up. My mouth is already watering in an….tic….i….pation of dinner.
I’ve never had edamame in dip form before, is there recipe coming? I bet it’s delish!
It just isn’t summer without melons! I must say you’ve inspired us to make some cantaloupe pops.
I spy some mason jar glasses; love them!
Thanks for sharing your weekend with us. Have a wonderful holiday week/end.

Hehe I’m a klutz too! I warned my husband about not falling on a painting that was leaning against a wall. He looked at me like “Why would I?” but I know that I would
Damnit, I was hoping you got a new tattoo!! Only because I’m a big fan myself and so is my son. Of course though, I love you anyways!!! You being a klutz totally had me laughing, I can be too! Sometimes, I have a bruise and have no idea where it came from!!
