Candy Corn Cookies
People seem to be crazy for candy corn! These itty bitty cookies look like the real thing and taste like a buttery cookie. The best of both worlds if you ask me

Soft and tender sugar cookies that look like real candy corn.
Author: The Squishy Monster
Serves: 1-2 Dozen
Ingredients
- 1½ c unbleached flour
- 1 ts baking powder
- ¼ ts fine salt
- 1 stick soft, unsalted butter
- ½ c sugar
- 1 ts vanilla
- 1 room temperature egg
- Red and yellow food color
Instructions
- In the first bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In the second bowl, cream together the butter and sugar for about 5 minutes.
- Tip in the vanilla and egg.
- Incorporate the first bowl into the second bowl slowly and don’t over mix.
- Section off 3 lumps of dough. Tint one yellow, the other orange, and leave the last one plain.
- In a small loaf pan lined with plastic wrap, press the yellow dough on the bottom, then the orange and the plain.
- Chill for at least an hour.
- Slice strips and cut into “candy corn” pieces {refer to video}. Bake at 350 for about 5 minutes (if you’re making them to scale).
