Chai Tea
One of my favorite things about Autumn is the cozy blanket of spice and warmth, not just provided by a pair of fuzzy socks but from the wealth of spices that nature has to offer. A steaming mug of chai is the perfect swirling mixture that is just enough familiarity wrapped up in the novelty of something different that provides a nice break from the regular pumpkin spice. Not to mention, if it’s not quite cool where you are, it stands up on its own to a glass full of ice and pairs beautifully with any pastry kissed with fall flavors.

Hi Angela, sorry I missed several of your postings. Your this chai tea look refreshing. Love this fragrant tea.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Dear Angela,
I’m not a coffee drinker and I agree this cup of chai is probably one of the best things to curl up with in autumn. All you need is a good book or an awesome horror movie
I love chai. What a great idea to make your own!
I love chai tea! Craving. Oh and I love that you used a chopstick to stir your drink – I always use our chopsticks to stir my drinks. LOL! Great minds.

Hi Angela!
I really would like to try this recipe. I’m just curious as to how much it makes. Does it store well in the refrigerator?
I’ve been looking for a simple comforting drink besides coffee and since I am a tea drinker from way back, I think this refreshing, seasonal tea would be just perfect. Bookmarked!
Chai tea is so comforting. Love it.
that alot of ingredients. i may have to stick to the powder becuz i am too lazy!hahaha
Sounds so cozy for autumn!
Can’t live without chai, something that we need everyday.
I don’t even want to get into how much I’ve drank in just the last few days, lol.
Perfect for cuddling and fuzzy socks =)
I hope you get to try it at least once, it’s thick nectar is addictive!
I’ve been sipping the last few mugs in bed and it’s been a gentle wake-me-up!
Last I made this portion, it made me about 3-4 cups of chai but it easily doubles/etc.
Such an exciting switch up from boricha =)
Thanks for visiting =)
I’ve been taking it with me everywhere, it seems!
lol, love that you do too, V!
And such a money saver!
Yes, it definitely has encouraged me to get more reading done! =)
No worries, glad you’re here now =)
That is the best when getting cooler: snuggling up with a warm treat to drink. Nice chai recipe. So easy to make.
So, in my religion we aren’t allowed to drink black tea, and I was wondering is there a substitute for it?
Great video! I love chai this time of year. Something about the combination of spices seems so fall-ish. I’ve never added anise when making chai but I’d love to try. The spicier the better, right?
My thoughts exactly
Red rooibos, maybe. Though, if it’s a caffeine issue, there are decaf black teas available too.
Love that it’s so low key but high in flavor!
So many of my favourite spices in this recipe
Thank you so much!!! I’ve always wanted to try chai, and now I can! THANKS!!
Fall is definitely my favorite season. I wish I had some chai tea right now!
You’re only 10 min away
My pleasure!!
Hope you get to try it
