Charming Charleston
If I had to stay in the Carolina’s forever, Charleston would be where I’d want to be. It possesses old school charm but is splashed with waves of cultural touches, be it in its food, tone, or ambiance. J and I made an impromptu day trip over and soaked in the lingering sun and salty air.
Crossing the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge to get to the aquarium {one of my favorite places on earth}
This loggerhead sea turtle weighs over 220 lbs!
We perused through the historic city market
We bought some tomatoes for saucing,
snacked at the new store front of a former food truck {flash fried pork belly wrapped in roti–yum!}
and enjoyed spicy jambalaya
I hope you and yours had a great weekend too!
Love,
Your Squishy Monster ^.~

This city looks like there is something to do everyday
It’s like being in a Nicholas sparks book.
He looked so content! I bet some people rarely find that kind of peace.
Fresh pasta from a guy there.
