Chocolate Brains

With Breaking Bad officially over, there isn’t much on television that appeals to me.  The premiere of The Walking Dead changes that.  What makes a premiere night better?  Chocolate.  I have a recipe for a super quick and easy molded chocolate brain that you can fill with anything you’d like.  {I used jelly to mimic faux blood, yum!}

Ingredients
  • 6 oz pink chocolate
  • Red jelly (or any filling of your choice)
  • Brain mold
Instructions
  1. Melt the chocolate over a double boiler (or in the microwave in 10-20 second intervals). Stir until smooth/melted.
  2. Spread a thick layer of melted chocolate on the bottom of the mold. Chill to set (mine took 15 minutes in the freezer).
  3. Spoon in your filling.
  4. Top with the rest of the melted chocolate (rap the mold against a flat surface to release any air bubbles and smooth the surface).
  5. Chill to set and un mold.
