Chicken Wings, Baked Not Fried

chicken-wings-baked-not-fried

Despite never touching a fryer, this method ensures a deep golden brown crunch every time.  My two favorite flavors I like to rotate are my honey sriracha and these mango habanero wings.

Serves: 2

Ingredients
  • 1 lb chicken wings
  • 1 ripe, cubed mango
  • 2 chopped habaneros {de-seeded if you’d like}
  • Salt and pepper
  • ¼c-1/2c brown sugar

Instructions
  1. Boil the chicken wings for 8-10 minutes.
  2. Drain and pat dry thoroughly.
  3. Bake at 500 for 25-35 minutes on a greased baking sheet, rotating when the skin releases from the pan.
  4. Cover the mango and habaneros with water {with about 2″ on top} and simmer on medium-low until it gets tender.
  5. Cool and puree with salt, pepper, and enough brown sugar to taste.
  6. Toss the baked wings in the sauce and serve.

Happy Super bowl!

Love,

Your Squishy Monster ^.~
