Sea & Sand
The Squishy Monster is moving to the beach!
This is something that’s been on my bucket list for quite some time and I’m ecstatic that by next week, we’ll be living just a few blocks from the beach. We combed through all the details this past weekend {not without some play time, of course} and I’ve brought back a pink nose, bubbling excitement, and a bittersweet note as well. As y’all may know, I’m very close to my family and I began tearing up when thinking about leaving them and guilt for all those wonderful weekly family suppers to not be had regularly. J has reassured me that we will come back often and that future suppers will be even that much more special. Not to mention, I’ll be able to bring back some fresh seafood with me to serve!
A jelly fish and crab that washed up to shore
Fun pancakes to fuel a day at the beach.
Sole with white wine and butter.
Mahi tacos, buffalo oysters, and sweet corn fritters.
They say that home is where the heart is. My heart will always be with my family but I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds.
I will be setting up a new kitchen next week and should have videos posted thereafter.
Love,
Your Squishy Monster ^.~

How fun! Glad you get to check something off of your bucket list. Not gonna say I’m not a little jelly that you get to live by the beach, but it will be interesting to see your new kitchen in your videos. Congrats on the move!
Ph lucky you and I am coming over for dinner for the seafood meals. Hope the move goes well.

Woooo!!!
How exciting, Angie, for sure you are going to enjoy it a lot.
Just think about all the gorgeous seafood and walking at the beach side.
And beautiful family weekends to look forward!
Looks like the beginning of a wonderful adventure! I’m sure you’ll love it!
I’m sooooooo excited for you Angela!!! It sounds wonderful and you are going to totally love it!!!
I know how difficult it will be for your family. When Michele moved to Idaho I had such a hard time for a while. But now, I actually love being able to go away to visit her and the kids. As was said, family get to gethers will just grow stronger.
Thank you so much for sharing, Angela. Congratulations and Good Luck in your new home…
P.S. I just realized your feed was not updating in my sidebar. I’ll fix it:)
Wow, the beach?? Sounds like fun. I’m super jealous right now.
Hi Angela, how you doing? I’m back after a month break, hope to catch up with everyone soon. Wow…it’s really great to stay s stone throw away from the beach. Hope you enjoy it and have lots of fun.
Have a fabulous weekend, regards.
Moving can be really scary, but for every 1 thing you’re leaving behind (which will still be there when you visit!) you’re going to find 10 new things you didn’t even know would be so cool.
Good luck with all your moving and good choice
so excited for u congrats! xO!
