Mother’s Day Gift Guide 2017

mothers-day-gift

How May got here so quickly, I’ll never know.  Next week is Mother’s Day and my mother in law will be visiting and I’m so excited to show her around the island.  I just mentioned on instagram how I’m still working through my list of “things to do in St. Croix” over a year later so I’ll get to revisit some places and experience new ones at the same time while playing tour guide.  I’m also looking forward to feeling the excitement and awe of seeing the island for the first time through her eyes.

If your mother/in law isn’t coming to visit you with a built in caribbean vacation, here are a few gifts that she’s sure to love.

This rose water is one I’ve personally been using a ton of lately after it was gifted to me by a sweet subscriber.  It’s like aromatherapy, a facial and toner all in one.  It’s so light, refreshing and uplifting that I never even knew what I was missing before it.

These dark chocolate truffles…drool!  The pickings are slim in St. Croix and you can’t always find what you’re looking for, especially if it’s a specialty item.  I recently stumbled upon the last box of these {and haven’t been able to find them since!}  Thank goodness for Amazon.  They’re not only yummy, the wrappers/box are compostable and they’re 99% organic and 97% fair trade.

These sterling silver Rose Quartz earrings denote unconditional love and are pretty but basic enough to wear as every day earrings.  Rose Quartz has a special place in my heart as it’s something I gifted my mother-in-law on the day that I married her son.

These Jackpot Candles are fun but can certainly be easily duplicated with my homemade candles {using beeswax, for the win!}

I also highly recommend my whipped chocolate body butter.  It’s magical stuff!
