I actually received these organic Khadrawy and Barhi dates (two of my absolute favorites) for my birthday and am just now getting into them due to the recent flurry of events (our big trip, moving, expanding our company, etc).  They’re both perfectly soft, caramel-y and sweet and couldn’t have been a better gift to make me feel loved.  Tip: I reserve these for snacking or diy cereal bowls and use up the inexpensive deglet nour varieties for recipes like my raw oatmeal raisin cookie bites or paleo brownies.

This vegan butter mochi is hands down the best mochi, vegan or not that I’ve ever had.

It’s ultra plush, soft, chewy and only gently sweet and buttery.  Yum!
