Thanksgiving 2012
November was a Cheetah of an animal…where did it go?
Despite Thanksgiving coming and going in one wizzy whirl, I find solace in the fact that my fridge is fat with leftovers galore and have pictures to share of a lovely Thanksgiving.
Heart shaped Honey-Cardamom Cinnamon Rolls for Breakfast
Thanksgiving Spread–I made 2 hams and am passing out Ham/Swiss sandwiches for Pack Away Hunger.

At dinner, I told Pops my Pecan story–he thought it was so funny/poignant, that after dinner, we went pickin’ and gathered 20 lbs of nuts, lol—if y’all have suggestions of what to do with all of it, please let me know.
A lone leaf celebrating Thanksgiving alone in the front of my house.
I hope that everyone had a beautiful celebration with their loved ones.
Love,
Your very grateful {and stuffed} Squishy Monster ^.~

It looks so delicious! Oh yum!
I hope you had a great one too, Amanda!
Your Thanksgiving dinner looks wonderful. That could actually be a postcard girl! It’s so pretty. I like the idea of the ham and cheese sandwiches for Pack Away Hunger. 20 pounds of pecans, you’re going to be busy coming up with all kinds of new things. If you want an easy one try my pineapple ham cheese ball (with pecans), so yummy
What a feast! And Deviled Eggs – yum – what a great idea. I never think to include those for thanksgiving and i love them.
whoa, what a spread! feels like i’ve piled on at least 5 lbs just looking at your pics! looks like your thanksgiving day went well ^^ wouldn’t mind starting the day with some heart cinnamon rolls myself ^^ happy weekend!
Seems like you had an incredible thanksgiving my friend
o Pecan…I love it. They are not the regular item on our supermarkets. That pecan ice cream looks divine!
Oh wow look at all the food and table spread! The fest will go on and on. I have a suggestion for the pecans: send me some lol ?
Ooooo (she squealed), your pictures made me want Thanksgiving all over again. And Honey Cardamom Cinnamon Rolls–would love to have that recipe!
Your dinner setup is picture perfect! Wow! And I love your heart shaped cinnamon rolls, esp the interesting flavors you chose for it. Hey, why not make some candied (and maybe spiced) pecans for holiday gifts?
GREAT idea…I will definitely be doing that!!
I feel rich in Pecans!
I will def. write it down in the books to do a video =)
Thanks, Angie! I hope you and your hubby enjoyed your Thanksgiving!
I did, thanks for spending part of it with me =)
I think I did by not stopping! I’m sure all the cleaning afterwards helped burn a bit of it off, lol.
You are too sweet, Suzie! That sounds like a fabulous idea =)
Mom actually convinced me to make them because she claimed we didn’t have enough food–psssh, we had SO much left over but I’m definitely not complaining! =)
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! And I’ve never heard that expression before about cheetah of a month but it fits November!
Awesome photos!
I’d love to eat Thanksgiving dinner with you.
Hi Angie, Happy thanksgiving to you and family. Wow….. I love, love your wonderful spread, everything look so delectable and yummylicious. Love your heart shaped cinnamon rolls, would love to have 1 please.
Happy thanksgiving! It’s not really an Australian or Chinese tradition so we didn’t really celebrate it which was a shame…
Happy Thanksgiving from Australia!
Those cardamom rolls look so yummy! I love pecans. I made a maple pecan pie for Thanksgiving and it was so good. I like your ice cream, too – it all looks delicious!

Wonderful giving!!
It seems harder each year to realize the true meaning behind our Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations what, with commercialism and consumerism shoved in your face to coincide with Halloween…I hope to pass the important lessons onto my children, one day.
Everything look amazing! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for sharing in the love with me =)
