Weekend Bits
I spent my Halloween weekend baking up treats, not tricks. What about you?
{4 dozen cupcakes for my friends Halloween party, with apples we picked last week at the orchard!}
{The aerial & belly dancer performers at the party}
Friends who are also all amazing talent or performers.
Visiting the Dia de Los Muertos exhibit the next day.
Part of brunch, goat cheese grit cakes and cajun roasted shrimp.
I was thinking about my baby brothers a lot this weekend and literally, when I got home, they were both on my door step. David goes to school a few hours away but Daniel lives all the way in Seattle and I was completely floored by the surprise. Needless to say, this was the best freaking part of the weekend. So happy that both my boys are home!!! We all celebrated with a yummy supper of tenderloin and chicken that J smoked, buttermilk mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, cheesy ciabatta, and veggies.
Off to spend the rest of my day with them,
Love,
Your Squishy Monster ^.~
